Story
A story which I started when Love inspired me to write. Maybe I'll pick it up again sometime.

As he slowly begins to accept the path that lies ahead of him, his visions and feelings get stronger. Not yet understanding what they mean and how to express them, he struggles and learns by trial and error. Now he can finally see the light that shines within people and the darkness that clouds it.
His thoughts wander off to the girl that has somehow enchanted him. She has showed him the power of love, which he thought he would never experience again. Her mere presence makes him glow and turns him into a big radiating ball of love. He wonders if he will ever be able to reach her level of energy and stand beside her without feeling overwhelmed.
He walks through the cold, not bothered by it at all, as his thoughts of her keep him warm. With every pace his connection with Mother Earth strengthens. He can feel Her longing for the new cycle in which nature will reclaim it's dominance over the world. He knows the changes will now start to appear and that it's time to get prepared. He has much to learn from his love; raised as a child of Mother Earth in many incarnations, she knows her way with nature. His mind has yet to grasp the things she will be capable of.
Then he reaches a hill where he enjoys the sounds and scenery that nature so neatly composed. He stares into the distance, his heart now knowing the path to take...

The earth beneath his feet starts to quiver and fear fills him. He almost panics, but then he remembered the lessons of his loved one. He shifts his focus to the plants and trees that surround him. Respectfully, he identifies himself to the trees, which seem to be hestitant to communicate with him as his connection with trees always had been cold and distant. He recognises their fear of opening up to yet another person that may not be trusted and with his energy he projects his feelings for his loved one. He shows them the change in attitude he has gone through. Totally recognising their strength and wisdom, he asks them to calm down Mother Earth.
Mother Earth had been becoming more and more agitated lately and started to fight back. She missed direction, not knowing how to hit the ones responsible for abusing her. Trees and animals had become Her triggermechanisms and whenever mankind set foot in unspoiled territory, She would respond with great force.
She already knew her loved one would be tested and had told him many times. Only his intentions and feelings could save him now. Feeling the changes the journey had made in him, she remained confident.
Had he panicked and ran, he would have failed. Although not totally convinced, the trees helped him out. They told him never to lose trust in his loved one, for she had a destiny even he could not grasp.
The earth got quiet again and he sat down to rethink his experience...
